the monitor_client_win32 fails to connect to the server if zpasswd is used to make an encrypted password.
Alas, this is known breakage (and noted in the notes I think)... unfortunately, ZServer (medusa) has all kinds of assumptions in the monitor code, and will require a pretty heavy restructuring. This should be done before the full release. For now, use the unencrypted storage.
