I totally agree with your observation and consider the Twisted integration as mission-failed. Nothing objections from my side. If you don't see objections by others, just go ahead.
IIRC, the twisted integration actually runs a WSGI server. But then again, my memory fooled me more than once this week alone. -- Sidnei
