The one big that would be hugely helpful is a dict property class. Should be quite simple and very useful IHMO without having to rely on TinyTables etc.

I knew I'd forget something ;-) Yup, a dict-type property would be might fine :-) ...and how about a list-of-objects type too? Hurm, actually, I think that's just about all the python base-types covered ;-) cheers, Chris
