They at least help in my own setup (py2.4.4 and py2.5.2, Lenny 32bit and
Etch 64 bit, in a virtualenv, with PIL and enscript installed).
+1 None of those packages contain C code, so the release should be easy. My 
almighty script is running right now to give you access to PyPI and make you 
all powerful. :-)
