It looks like z3c.zalchemy.AlchemyDataManager._cleanup doesn't do everything the sqlalchemy docs suggest it should. Specifically, it calls clear() on the session rather than close().

This is one of the incompatibilities with the current version of zalchemy with SQLAlchemy 0.4. I'll merge the compatibility changes for SQLAlchemy 0.4 tomorrow.
