I originally scheduled Zope 2.8.2 for October 12th but I have to delay the release for some days (possibly one week) because of unforeseeable travel and a lot of important work. I hope this is fine for everyone.

Works for me ;-) Is Zope 2.7.8 also affected (2.7.8 was also scheduled for October 12)? I need to know in advance so I can get matching ZODB 3.2.10 and 3.4.2 releases made and stitched in at the right times.
