Thanks for that, Dieter. I started to evaluate SQL Relay myself, but decided it wasn't quite there yet (for my purposes). Your comments just confirm this. It still seems very alpha, complex, and doesn't support the latest DBs (e.g. Oracle 9i, Firebird 1.0) without significant hacking. David trudgett
