      Hmm, that does the trick (thought I'd already tried specifying hostname).
Brings startup down to 15 seconds.  Apparently my dns server is incorrectly
configured (specifying it didn't help, I had to specify the hostname
explicitly).

    ZServer tries to do a reverse lookup and you have a problem with your
nameserver config. This should go away if you specify the hostname and/or
fix
the nameserver settings (or make sure it's reachable).
