[Zope] Is Python 2.2 bad?

A few messages on this list have me worried about Python 2.2. If I'm installing Zope 6 on a Red Hat Linux 7.3 OS (kernel 2.4.18-3), will Python 2.2 cause me problems? Thanks in advance, Jon
