Hello everyone! A quick update on some topics of interest to the Zope community: Software Releases ----------------- We've been working diligently to address software release issues. This week will see the release of both: - Zope 2.6.4 (unchanged from 2.6.4rc2), and - Zope 2.7.0 (unchanged from 2.7.0rc2) [Thanks, Brian!] In addition, it appears (though hazy! :^) that Zope 2.8 will start to see the light of day in the first part of the second quarter of this year. The "To-Do" list for 2.8 is available online at: http://dev.zope.org/Wikis/DevSite/Projects/Zope2.8/MilestonePlan Jim has to stay on one continent for more than 15 days in a row in order to get this done. IRC Sessions ----------------- Following up on the December IRC session we've scheduled the following sessions for the remainder of the year. These dates represent the second Tuesday of each month. These one hour (1hr) long sessions will be on irc.freenode.net in the #zope channel.
