You need an archive path set **only if** you need to save attachments on the **filesystem**. If you do create an archive directory, your Zope user (the user under which Zope runs) should have necessary permissions to the dir. Finally, you also have to add your directory to the following file: NeoPortalLibrary/data/filepath_bases.prop Without a corresponding entry, you'll get unauthorized error. It's a security feature. It's all in the docs. Read the docs first. Currently I am stuck on the Archive Path. I have tried adding /mysitename/testfolder\ Also tried /mysitename/testfolder/ I am getting an unauthorized path error. For the archive, is the path on the local filesystem or on the web site? You don't need a Skin Folder for Plone. 2. You don't add a NeoBoard instance thru ZMI in Plone. You create CMFNeoBoard content type instances **from inside** Plone as you would any anther content types. What you've been doing is exactly what you do with stock Zope, not CMF nor Plone ;-) Plus, use Plone 1.0.1 with the latest NeoBoard, no RC's.
