Gentoo doesn't have an 'update' system in the same way as Redhat et al, but it does have an update mechanism I find I prefer over anything Redhat or Mandrake offer. Gentoo really is a "comfortable" distribution (meaning some may not find it so), but takes time to set up. -----Original Message----- From: Heimo Laukkanen [mailto:huima@iki.fi] Sent: Thursday, November 06, 2003 10:23 To: zope@zope.org Subject: Re: [Zope] Linux distributions for Zope Servers So Suse is preferred choise for atleast few Zopistas. But does Suse have a good updating system similar to Redhat Network? I'm just thinking about maintenance and management of multiple servers and also cases where potential customers manage their servers on their own - possibly with very limited Linux knowledge and experience. Is there anything else comparable to RH Network or Mac Os X support and ease of maintenance? .. and that is also reliable and has a future ... -- -huima _______________________________________________ Zope maillist - Zope@zope.org http://mail.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope ** No cross posts or HTML encoding! ** (Related lists - http://mail.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope-announce http://mail.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope-dev )
