[Zope] OpenOffice-Doc Import (zipped xml Import)

Hi, I just experimented a bit with OpenOffice1.0 documents to import into Zope. With zipfolder it is possible to unpack the packed xml-files. But they are stored as file-metatype documents like "content.xml" etc. and it is not possible to open them. If the extension is changed to "content.txt" its possible to view the raw text-content without the xml-tags. Does anybody know a simple solution to import zipped xml-files and keep the structure, tags and maybe filter unnecessary tags and docdescriptions? This would be a nice way of importing content into zope without dealing with html etc. Thanks for any hints, Elena
