Redirection in always handled outside Squid. As you can see in squid.conf you have to pass the name of the external program.
So OK, I need another program. Any suggestions/preferences? Does anyone have a sample of how to handle my minimalist requirement (rewrite http://mysite.com --> http://123.45.678.9:81/somedir) ? Sorry but I need some help... Ken
