Just for curiousity sake, can you try another browser? I don't understand what is making IE barf on this. Is this Zope server available publically? If so, maybe I can have a look. -Casey On Monday 12 August 2002 09:21 am, abg@comco-inc.com wrote:
I'm already running the 0.4.2 binary release. I've tried it on both a WinME machine and a WinXP machine, with no luck.
Any other ideas?

I'm not sure if this will help, but the 0.4.1 binary distro did not contain the ssl windows libraries, and they are not included with a stock Python 2.2 installation either.
The 0.4.2 distro includes the ssl libraries.

Hi Casey,
Love External Editor, and it works wonderfully when I attach to Zope without using SSL.
However, when I try to edit a page through SSL, IE throws the error "Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found."
I'm using External Editor 0.4.1 with Zope 2.5.1 on Win2000, if that helps.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
