Paul/Ben, Would it be possible for you to send a copy of the output from the Zope start.bat script? I've *never* had any problem when running Zope on any of the 32 bit Windows, (getting it running on Windows 3.1 was hard tho, just kidding). My first guess is that the localhost/other domains are not in your hosts file, but I can't be definitive. You are not alone. I had Zope work okay on a Win98 box when I first installed it. But subsequent installs (to upgrade) have never worked and show the symptoms you describe.
I've got a hunch that the registry needs tweaking but I know precious little about that on NT and SFA on Win98.
Windoze gurus please help!
