[Zope] Insert file through ftp.

Can I insert a file throuht ftp and define its type or change it later? I made a product PrX ,with OFS.File and Catalog, and I want to put many files into my project and that its type to be of PrX. I think that the easiest way to do that is through ftp. There are 2005 files to insert with the meta_type of PrX, wouldn`t be possible to do one each time.
