You are comparing 250MHz CPU's to 450MHz PIII's. Intel still wins out per MHz, but Sparc arcitecture wins out when you have more than 4 threads (as you can have more than 4 CPU's). And probably even with 2 threads depending on what OS you run on the Intel box.
