Sorry about that last post, I'm still pretty much asleep, but the how to I tried to reference is http://www.zope.org/Members/4am/instancehome Good Luck, Todd ----- Original Message ----- From: Huston, Virgil H. <vhhuston@switch.com> To: <zope@zope.org> Sent: Monday, December 17, 2001 5:49 AM Subject: [Zope] Two Zopes [NEWBIE]
OK, this is driving me crazy and I can't find the answers on zope.org. I originally wrote asking if I could run two instances of Zope on the same server, each installed in the user account and each on different IP numbers. I tried it and couldn't get through the log-in.
Some
helpful person (thank you) told me that it was because of the 8080 port conflict. So, I tried to change the port for the second Zope installation. That did not work at all. Perhaps there was something else I should have done, but I don't know what.
So, the next question is can I run two sites off one Zope installation if each site is in a different folder? I would imagine that I would have to somehow redirect the second folder contents to the other site, but I don't know how to do this. If this is possible, could someone point me to some resources. The xope.org search returns very confusing and often contradictory results.
Thanks, Virgil
