The Zope Book has two chapter on ZPT + a ZPT reference. All tree chapter introduce ZPT in a reasonable way which should be sufficient for most users. What else do you need? -aj --On Dienstag, 6. Januar 2004 13:43 Uhr -0800 Alex Newby <anewby@mailbolt.com> wrote:
Hi,
I've googled around a bit, but fallen a little short in finding some good information on learning ZPT. I'm new to Zope, and to programming, but know XHTML like the back of my hand and am becoming more experienced with CSS everyday. I come from MoveableType and quickly learned the syntax of it's templating language, to the point of frustration:), so ZPT doesn't seem off the mark; nevertheless, short of Appendix C in the Zope Book I've come across little to help me make the transition. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions that aren't showing up in Google.
For the obvious...
I found this to be rather nice: http://www.zope.org/Wikis/DevSite/Projects/ZPT/SimpleTutorial
The discussion of the "metal" here to be informative: http://www.zopemag.com/Issue003/Section_Articles/article_ZPTintro.html
This is good too: http://zdp.zope.org/projects/zqr/ZopeQR
And the prospect of using dtml to dynamically render my css is blowing my mind.
I'm wondering if I can be directed to some of those resources off the beaten path.
Appreciatively,
