I am pretty sure that Plone, CPS and all other CMF-based applications will move to Zope 3 at some point but they will not be based on CMF for Zope but based on *something* that has some related functionalities but this will not be CMF and it will unlikely compatible with CMF. -aj --On Montag, 8. Maybe I did not get you right : are you saying something like "they are so incompatible that there will never be a CMF product for Zope 3 ?"

Zope 2 is completely incompatible with Zope 3. Best to look at Stephan Richter's Zope 3 book (dev.zope.org -> Zope 3).
