Hi All, The operational error problem was solved, actually the problem with MySQL database, so I reinstalled MySQL using rpm, now it is working with MySQL. Thanks again for all, especially for Frank and Dieter. -Bala-

Check /etc/my.cnf, where the socket is located. In case your client libraries think different about this you may establish a symbolic link to get started. This is only a workaround - the right thing to do would be to correct the client libraries and build the _mysql module from scratch. The right entries in /etc/my.cnf are the ones containing "socket". Maybe that they are set different in th client- and mysqld section. If you correct his other things may break.
Btw: this is _not_ a problem with Zope and only partial a Python problem.
