[Zope] problems with setting request variable

When using <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('prev_batch',<dtml-var next-sequence-start-number>)"> I receive the following error. , for tag <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('prev_batch',<dtml-var next-sequence-start-number>)"> What is the problem ? Michael
