Hello, thanks for your reply, Yes of course your right but have not been able to... is it possible let's say for instance for Zope.cgi to start the server in case a request is made and the server is not up? I think this would solve it because if the process is down, the pcgi script cud restart it the problem is I don't know how to tell it to do that is there a way?

I have a huge problem, my ISP is shutting down my zope process at regular intervals, this of course creates the problem of the service gets out of order until I restart zope.
My question is: is there a way to monitor the zope process and if down automatically restart it ?
This doesn't really solve the problem your having does it? What if they kill the monitoring process too? I think the real problem is your ISP. Tell them not to kill your processes.
