[Zope] newbie question

Now that I've set up some virtual hosts off my zserver, I have another question. These sites (each in a folder in the zope DB) share a lot of data in the form of some custom zobjects representing contacts, calendar items, and posts to discussion boards. If I put these objects in folders on the root level, how do I access them from dtml methods somewhere else?
