[Zope] Tracker product fails at "Add A Tracker"

      Sorry if you've seen this before, but the post never made it back to
myself so i'll try this again.

I tried get get my hands on the Tracker product recently and it didn't work.

As i got it directly from CVS i decided to wait some time before
i tried again. Well now i found that my problem is well known
and was submitted to Trackers Bug Tracker Jun 14 2000 !!

For short: It is not possible to add a Tracker, as the dialog
titled "Add A Tracker" fails on submitting Id and Title. (see details below)

Questions:  Is this a Tracker problem or something else?
            Are there any solutions awaylable?
            Does Tracker development continue at all?

  (SuSE 6.4, Zope 2.2.4. including latest Hotfix)
  Installing Tracker is fine. 
  Hitting "Add..." gives:
