Since I never understood the difference between the WEBDAV port and the normal http port i always use the http port Robert ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andreas Jung" <andreas@zope.com> To: <bvondane@cso.atmel.com>; <zope@zope.org> Sent: Friday, November 02, 2001 9:16 PM Subject: Re: [Zope] WebDAV and Zope...
Did you start Zope with using the -W option to enable the WebDAV support ? You also need to use the WebDAV port instead of the Zope's standard HTTP port.

I am running Zope 2.4.2 on Windows 2K pro and can't Windows to connect to Zope using WebDAV. Nor am I able to get Dreamweaver to connect to to Zope using WebDAV... I am prompted for my username and password, but always get one of the following errors:
The folder you entered does not appear to be valid or Unable to authenticate the webdav server or an error occured - cannot get remote folder information
Any insight on this would be appreciated...
-Bill
