I was curious as to how the manage_workspace and other manage_ methods work, so I am wondering how to view the source for these methods ? Where are they 'stored' ?

Usualy they are written in python and stored in lib/python/. There is no one file that contains all the method you're looking for. All objects define their own methods. For example, all of the methods attributable to a folder are found in lib/python/OFS/Folder.py. -Michel
