Hello!
Is there any plan to make complex "Apache + Zope" even more efficient by making Zope.cgi a module (mod_zope, let's name it, or mod_pcgi)?
I do hope there is. If implemented like the Apache JServ module (http://java.apache.org/) it should solve a lot of problems for everyone, adding performance to boot. JServ is in effect a separate process (like Zope) that receives it's request via the Apache server, with the help of a module, that translates the requests into socket calls. If someone modifies the module that comes with JServ to call the Zope process instead of the JServ process..... -- M.J.
