[Zope] How to make a custom zmi to edit content?

Hi, I was thinking about making a admin interface that pulls the content from the management interface and displays it in the template context it comes from. I know how to do most of it but am lacking ZMI understanding of the situation. Does anybody know of a resource on how to access the zope data and open it up for editing then saving?
