[Zope] Any Zope Scanner Interface?

Does anyone have product that will Interface with a document scanner? (Knowing that plan B would be sucking in from the file system). I'm not necessarily looking to store pictures in zope, just Metadata. Thanks in advance. BTW, I sent this to the plone list...
