[Zope] access to variables in more than one dtml-method ??

Hello ZOPE cracks, I have a new question for you. I started with ZOPE two weeks ago and I hope you´ll forgive me this question. Is it poosible to set up a nemespace variable with REQUEST.set('example') in one dtml-method and access it in another. For exapmle a login screen and a UI it doesn´t matter what. I´ve bought me a ZOPE book but I found out not so much. Thanks Florian Schuler
