Hi Webman, I think you need to check the 'Add Guest Book Entries' on the security tab for the folder where you added the Guestbook, not in the Products folder. .i.e the permission to add entries is on an instance-by-instance basis for each Guestbook you create. I don't really know what the significance of changing the permissions in the Products directory is... As an aside, what configuration are you using Zope in? Are you using it with the built-in webserver or with a separate web server? I get a similar error when I'm accessing a guestbook anonymously .. I get the message "You are not authorized to access this resource.", but not the one saying "No Authorization header found."., and I'm using the built in server for the moment. Looking at it though, the ability to add Guestbook Entries should really be a permission of a Guestbook object, and not of the folder containing the Guestbook. Cheers, Andy.

hi,
i was fooling around with the guestbook availible via the zope download section and am having problems setting the permission so that anonymous users can post into it.
the error i get is: You are not authorized to access this resource. No Authorization header found.
i've edited the permission in /Control_Panel/Products/GuestBook
and checked the boxes for:
Add Guest Book Entries View Entries
am i missing a permission?
regards,
webman
