the method isn't happy with a tuple :(
correct line:

context.manage_delObjects( ids=['testfile',] )
...
when i try the script with
"http://blabla.blabla.com/testfolder/deleteFile"
i get the following error msg:
Error Value: object doesn't support item deletion
