First off let me say that WorldPilot its slick. I have been banging on it for a while and I can't seem to get around the following problem. Whenever I add an event to the calendar I get the error message and traceback shown below.
I have tried a variety of combinations. This particular instance was with no adjustments to the date-time defaults. As far as I can tell its croaking on the redisplay.
Ryan are you out there? Any suggestions? Anyone else on the list used WorldPilot's calendar without a problem?
TIA for any suggestions.
I'll confirm this. I've been getting it since the betas.
It seems to happen whenever I go to access a shared calendar. :(
I'd like to look into the problem. Does you calendar work when you look into your own? Do you only get an error when accessing a shared calendar?
the called Frame info (URL) might be handy, too.
Cheers, Ryan
I was getting anytime after either adding an event, or accessing (attempting to) a shared calendar. I upgraded, renoived the Event folders, and now I don't get the error. Unfortunately, I get the date-2days problem, and see _none_ of the newly added events, even after a logout.
:(
IMPORTANT: The new release fixes the problem. It's _NOT_ necessary to remove the Events folder, since that is equal to flushing your data. I wrote that the Events would be recreated and be empty. It was only meant as a hack to reset it, and I understood that it had never worked yet on your installation. Sorry, if I wasn't explicit enough. If you still have a copy of that data (mv instead of rm?) you can place it back, restart and relog onto the server, and it will still be there. Ryan
