[Zope] https with 2.5.1

I've recently upgraded from Zope 2.3.2 to 2.5.1 (FreeBSD 4.3). Previously, I was able to fetch and parse https:// pages using KebasData. Now I can't... I have read some posts regarding SSL, patching urllib.py, and M2Crypto, but I never had to do anything special for this to work with Zope 2.3.2. More to the point, these solutions do not seem to apply to Zope 2.5 on a Unix-like os. I would also like to upload https:// documents into Document Library, which also doesn't work. I'm bummed.. Any ideas?
