Wikis are to online collaboration as the 60's were to sex. :) Wikis encourage free-love and groping...and the holistic inter-connectedness of all things in the wicki. -yeah, baby!

I too have the same 'problem' of describing what Wikis are. Normally it boils down to "they work like this and they're cool." :-)
