Hello,
Anybody here put Zope on a Qube from Cobalt? Suggestions or ideas would be appreciated....
Yes, I have. On both the original Qube and the current Qube. You'll want to do it only if you have a Qube2 and aren't expecting /. like loads. Right now I'm running Zope behind Apache on a Qube1. It's very slow. It's tolerable running Zope alone. It's much peppier on a Qube2 running on its own (not behind Apache). But, again, do it only if you aren't expecting /. loads. Pystones: Qube: 432 Qube2: 1048 Celeron400a: 5400 See what I mean? Have a look at QubeQuorner for more details. There I've written up how to run Zope behind Apache, and as I did it on a Qube you might find it helpful. http://weblogs.userland.com/qube/ Because it's so slow I now use Zope on my Celeron, and I publish the pages as static files. Of course, this works only if your site doesn't require dynamic support. If I had a Qube2 I would certainly wing it. Luke
