CacheFu is being used on plone.org at the moment.
Neither Zope nor Plone are proper delivery systems, and if you want performance, you should read up on caching.
Zope by itself can be a very capable delivery system. Not sure what you're talking about. It's all about the application you put on top of Zope. jens
