FWIW, there is at least one known leak in 2.5.1 that seems to crop up pretty frequently. You can fix it with a patch it but you'll have to do it by hand. http://collector.zope.org/Zope/421

Best thing to do is upgrade to python 2.1.3 and Zope 2.5.1 - this combination (and as far as I'm aware *only* this combination) takes care of a series of problems such as restarts, memory leaks and gc problems under Solaris.
We have the above combination working on a Solaris 8 system and it's very stable and we're happy with it.
