What is missing on your computer is a c compiler. However I think you should be able to find a precompiled version somwhere. Do a search over sourceforge for the ZMySQLDA package...,. I believe the last I installed was version 2.0.8 which I use on an XP machine with Zope 2.4.1. It was a real pain to get going> What I seem to remember being the clincher was finding the already compuled binaries of the middleware, as I didn't seem to be able to compile it myself.
