I have upgrade to RDFSummary this morning, however, even i enter the correct proxy server, it still have the same problem. And I have another problem, my network administrator told me that my zope is still trying to connect to the outside world, but I have deleted the RDFSummary object after his first warning. Did RDFSummary still try to retrieve the url after the original object have been removed? Rgs, Kent Sin --- Bocquillon Philippe <Philippe.Bocquillon@trasys.be> wrote:
If "RSS summary" you are refering to is the Zope module RDFSummary, then see the new version of it (1.3) which solves the winsock error problem, at least on Windows NT. It was a problem linked to the presence of a proxy server.

I encounted this error
Error Message: [Errno socket error] (10061, 'winsock error')
The document library, RSS summary and others.
I think it is related to windows 2000 or the ms proxy server which is sitting between the internet and our office network.
When using resources inside the office network, the document library is ok even with our company web pages (intranet).
Is this a known python error? I am running the python 1.52 bundle with zope 2.32b2.
