Hi A popular feature for some is mail-this-page-to-a-friend. Depending on the circumstances, this ranges from lame harassement to a cool and useful thing. Mostly on the lame side imo, but can offset problem of heavy frames use. Sending a URL is often all that is requirtrd but for dynamic sitses this may or may not produce the intended result. so I am wondering if anyone has already come up against this with Zope, or has good suggestions for doing so. I can imagine a small product, ZGETMAIL, which harnesses a server-side wget tool to snapshot the selected current page in HTML, timestamp it and send or stash it like a digital postcard. Mail-this-Zopepage-to-a-friend would then allow one to send a special url linking to the location holding the snapshot HTML. The goal is to reduce confusion from forwarding URLs whose content changes, and to make it as easy and hassle free as possible to do so [no outlook express instaces screwing things up etc]. Useful especially for people logged into unfamiliar web terminals while away from laptop/home/office. - Jason ___________________________________________________________ Jason CUNLIFFE = NOMADICS['Interactive Art and Technology']
