Thanks for answer Pherhaps I mixed somthing, but I belive the concept don't works in the right way on windows. First one question, after I explain more about my problem step by step. I tried since a couple of weeks to explain my proplem and nobody understand my way. All the products and *_HOME path's work well, but I think the concept isn't well for to develope and test on windows. Witch data.fs is using form zope if I set INSTANCE_HOME ? The INSTANCE_HOME/var/data.fs ? I'm right? Or is there a way to use the C:\..\zopeInstallation\var\data.fs with INSTANCE_HOME? This isn't the point. My problem is That since INSTANCE_HOME was different implemented, PRODUCTS_PATH dosn't work like before.
INSTANCE_HOME has been around for a very long time. I don't think PRODUCTS_PATH works any differently now than it did in Zope 2.2.
How do other poeple develope and test on windows? Has anybody a solution for to separate the own products from zope, and just the own products. And share this own products to different zope versions?
I use INSTANCE_HOME and put my products in %INTSANCE_HOME%/Products and leave the Zope installation's Products directory well alone.
cheers,
