Yeah, I've murdered IE 5.0 several times. I'll try an upgrade and see if that helps. I was beginning to think that was the problem. One thing I don't understand is how can I be authenticated just fine to manage the resources, but not the View them. If I'm not visiting a management resource, why in the world would there need to be any authentication? Have you closed and reopened your browser? Can you try it with a different version or different browser. Certain versions of IE have authentication problems.

I was running behind Apache, but got rid of that so clear things up a little. There is a Zope root acl_users with 2 manager accounts. The root folder is set up for the Manager to do everything, Anonymous can only view things, and Owner does nothing. I can do anything I want to the site except View the content. It prompts for a password, but will always deny access no matter what account I use. Anon access no longer exists...
