ZTables (aka Tabula) is a system for managing tabular information. The system can store a large amount of data in rows in a table and this data can be retrieved quickly because of a built-in indexing mechanism. As the message Paul refers to above states, ZTables is not publicly available. However, the low-level machinery that does the indexing is available in Zope 1.10 (and is used by Confera).
