Gutenmorgen Thies, No, no answer yet. I've got a feeling that one would have to write a DTML method which is sort of Python-ish but not exactly the same. I've been playing this weekend and had no joy. As and when I get it working, I'll write something up on zdp.zope.org and everybody will know :-) Maybe somebody on the list can toss us a clue and we can work this out... Hi,
I read your posting in the zope mailing list and just wondered if you got any answers yet. We have quite the same problem. I'm new to Zope and encountering its abilities. It seems very useful and if there was a way to build the manager/reviewer commitment functionality it would be the perfect tool. If you think of developing this functionality, I'd be happy to change some thoughts with you. I'm no python programmer yet but I'm willing to learn it.
Thanks in advance, Thies Bähr.
Is there a way to force a user into a session when they log in to resource/manage? I'd like to be able to give 'content masters' control of their own areas but without allowing them to change objects live.
Then a manager/reviewer could approve the changes and commit the session.
Cheers, Jules
