JDBC is a common API, which requires JDBC drivers to work.
You left out that also requires you to write in Java.
Hmm... I wonder if DC would be happy sacrificing a bit of performance for never having to write another DA again?
It's not whether *we* would be willing to sacrifice it, but would our customers. Chris
