Thanks for the link. It seems that it can help a bit (I played around with just a little). Still, it is not similar to the apache reverse proxy. FOr example, I do not see how cookies get sent back and forth from the proxy behind zope. I used mod_rewrite and Virtual Host Monster. VHM is really cool -- I wish other webserver have that kind of facility!
