I am having the same problem as a post I found on the eGroups list

Two solutions: 1) Temporarily move Hotfix_2000-12-08 to a different place on your system, restart Zope, create the MailHost, move the product back, and restart again. 2) Upgrade to Zope 2.2.5b1. Shane
